Google is using HTML5 to support full-HD video playback on YouTube. Flash player is been driven away from websites. Even though, YouTube is still using it. In YouTube, Flash player will have a buffer-free player and seamless transitions setting. HTML5 is a taking over Adobe's Flash player job.

HTML5 is increasing their population in the World Wide Web. As an IA, it's a good news because we don't need to go all the trouble from one program to another programs. Now, its easy to work all in one program, HTML5.

Mozilla introduced the “DNT” (Do Not Track) privacy. This feature consist a simple HTTP header flag that toggled through browser’s preference dialog. This tells website operator’s and advertiser's user to opt out of invasive tracking and practices. It's become pervasive with behavioral advertising.

Relevance to the Class
The new "DNT" (Do Not Track) privacy will come in handy in the future for website users.  DNT standard seems another really good step to help broader support for the advertisers. The ideally provide clear and consistent guidance on how DNT support should be implemented in both servers and browsers.

Adobe have abandon the mobile devices Flash Player. They confirmed the operating is officially dead. They say that it was to "aggressively contribute" to HTML5". They are going to to work on AIR platform for more native experience. Now, Adobe will work on Flash Player for Desktop operating systems.

Adobe's Flash Player for mobile devices is officially dead. The mobile devices cannot support HTML5 in the system. This tells the technology is upgrading to fast for mobile devices. That's why the other company created tablet devices. It's pretty sad that mobile devices can't support HTML5.
